Operating the Answering Machine (com.)
Message Memo
You can record a confidential message on the Incoming
Message tape (ICM) which can be retrieved by anyone
with your remote code number.

Push 2 WAY/MEMO until a beep is heard.

Speak into the Microphone to record your message.

When you are finish, push 2 WAY/MEMO again.
»The IN USE indicator will go out.
•The unit will return to the Auto Answer mode if the
AUTO ANS indicator is on.
Recording
a 2 Way Conversation
While speaking with someone on the telephone, you can
record the conversation, however, many states have
regulations in which 2-Way Telephone Conversations
may be recorded, so you should first consult your public
utility agency before using this feature.
■ To record a 2-Way Conversation:

While speaking, push 2 WAY/MEMO until a beep is
heard.

Talk with the other party.
•The until will generate a beep every 15 seconds to
notify the caller that the conversation is being
recorded.

When you are finish, push 2 WAY/MEMO again.
