Getting started with the new Survey equipment
Configure by TR500
The TR500 Terminal can be used to
configure the MC500, check the
status of the observations and
satellites in the same way as it is
used to configure the System 500
survey receivers.
When using the TR500 to configure
the MC500, the MC500 must be
configured from an external power
source, and the TR500 connected to
the Terminal Port of the MC500 via a
standard Leica data cable.
A block diagram of this configuration
is shown in Figure MG.02.
Please refer to the System 500 part
of the User Manual fro instructions to
use the TR500 to configure the
MC500 receiver.
