The CLIM front panel has two full-duplex, fixed-rate interface ports:
• The User Port receives and transmits the 10Base-T Ethernet signal on UTP cable.
• The Extension Port receives and transmits the Ethernet signal over multimode or single mode
fiber at various wavelengths:
•
Multimode 850nm
•
Single mode 1310 - 1550nm
The LNK/Rx and Tx LEDs near the User and Extension port connectors show the status for those
ports. Table 3 shows the LED states for various port conditions.
