2.1.7 Installation Tools
Prepare the following tools before installation:

Flathead screwdrivers

Phillips screwdrivers

ESD-preventive wrist strap
Note: The installation tools are not provided with 9171 Series Routing Switch
2.2 Installation
2.2.1 Installing Device onto Rack
9171 series of switches can be installed in a 19” standard rack in the following way:
 Installation of Front Hangers Coupling with Tray
Note: Front hangers are only used to fix switches, but unable to bear the weight.

Description:
(1) Screw hole for fixing front hangers and rack (choose M6 screw)
(2) Screw hole for fixing front hangers and switch
 Installation Method:
Installation process of using front hangers coupling with tray:
a. Wear ESD-preventive wrist strap, and check the grounding and stability of rack.
b. Fix the tray to a proper position of rack horizontally.
