BATTERY CHARGER MONITOR
When the RM5000 is equipped with battery backup the battery voltage is monitored. A treshold may
be set with R6 to apx 25 Volt. If the voltage is higher then this treshold then the battery is being charged
and D6 is ON. If AC power is lost or the battery charger fails then the battery voltage will rapidly fall below
the treshold and D6 will turn OFF. At the same time an alarm may be sent to the DAD104 (if programmed)
that the system is running on battery power. This alarm can only be cleared by restoring the battery voltage
to 25 Volt or higer.
