Rear window wiper/washer
The button is located on the center con-
sole.
1 Intermittent wipe
2 Indicator lamp
3 Rear window washer system
̈ Switch on the ignition ( ୴ page 36)

If anything blocks the windshield wip-
ers (leaves, snow, etc.), switch them off
immediately.
ț For safety reasons, stop the vehicle
in a safe location
ț remove SmartKey from starter
switch
or
ț turn off the engine by pressing
the KEYLESS-GO* start/stop
button and open the driver’s
door (with the driver’s door
open, starter switch is in
position 0, same as with
SmartKey removed from starter
switch)
before attempting to remove any
blockage.
ț Remove blockage.
ț Turn the windshield wipers on
again.
If windshield wipers fail to function at
all in switch position I,
ț set the combination switch to the
next highest wiper speed
ț have the windshield wipers
checked at the nearest authorized

The rear window wiper engages
automatically if the gear selector lever
is moved to position R with the
windshield wipers switched on.
