The Comfor tTouch ™ recliner contains two inflata ble air chamber s , one in the
seat and one in the lumbar area, for customized comfor t and suppor t. There
are numerous combinations of seat and lumbar adjusta ble settings , and two
memor y presets to store individualized programmed settings .
• Press the FIRM buttons to increase the firmness of the seat and back.
• Press the SOFT buttons to decrease the firmness of the seat and back.
• Press and release any button to increase or decrease the firmness setting
by one number. Press and hold any button to quickly increase or
decrease the fir mness setting.
• The numer ic display indicates the selected level of fir mness from the
softest setting of “0,” to the fir mest setting of “9.” The numer ic display
will blink w hen the seat or back is adjusting, and will stop blinking
w hen the selected setting is reached.
• To save your desired Comfor t Index settings , press and hold either the
A or the B memor y position button for two seconds. To recall your saved
Comfort Index settings, simply press the memor y position button the
settings were stored in.
When electr ical power is restored after a power outage, or w hen unplugged
and then plugged back in, the two inflata ble air chamber s will retur n to the
last setting before power loss . The Comfor t Index settings stored in memor y
will not be affected by electr ical power interr uption.

Operating Instr uctions:
– To reduce the risk of serious injur y:
• Sit down in the unit slowly. To avoid tip over, do not throw your weight
against the back of the unit. Move the unit into or out of the reclining
position slowly, making sure that no children or pets are in close proximity.
• The 1CT ComfortTouch ™ chair is intended for a single occupant, not
exceeding 250 pounds. Do not operate the chair with more than one
occupant in or on any part of the chair.
• To safely exit the unit and prevent a tripping hazard bring the back
upright and close the legrest.

– To reduce the risk of serious injur y:
• Do not use unit if power control is damaged or wet. Do not use unit if the
hand wand has been dropped in water or any liquid. Contact your
La-Z-Boy ® dealer for service.
– To prevent product damage:
• Do not disconnect the hand wand from the hand wand extension cord,
inside the pocket, when the unit is plugged in.
