Repeat play
This repeat playback of the track currently played
back. It corresponds to the iPod operation of
selecting “Settings”
➜ “Repeat (one)” from the
menu of the iPod.
1. Press the [REPEAT] button.
2. To cancel repeat playback, press the
[REPEAT] button again.
All repeat play
This repeat playback of the all tracks. It
corresponds to the iPod operation of selecting
“Settings”
➜ “Repeat (ALL)” from the menu of
the iPod.
1. Press and hold the [REPEAT] button for 1
second or longer.
2. To cancel All repeat playback, press the
[REPEAT] button again.
Random play
This specifies random playback of the tracks
included in the album. It corresponds to the iPod
operation of selecting “Settings”
➜ “Shuffle
(Albums)” from the menu of the iPod.
1. Press the [RANDOM] button.
2. To cancel random playback, press the
[RANDOM] button again.
All random play
This specifies random playback of all the tracks.
It corresponds to the iPod operation of selecting
“Settings”
➜ “Shuffle (Songs)” from the menu
of the iPod.
1. Press and hold the [RANDOM] button for 1
second or longer.
2. To cancel the All random playback, press the
[RANDOM] button again.
Selecting tracks in the iPod MENU
mode
In the iPod mode, you can select tracks by the
album title or artist name by the similar
operations on the iPod as well as the iPod Music
menu.
Note:
• In the iPod MENU mode, you cannot specify the
fast-forward, fast-backward, repeat and random
playback.
1. Press the [CAT] button.
* The “CAT” indicator is lit when the system
enters in the iPod MENU mode.
Press the [CAT] button again to return to the
iPod mode.
2. Turn the [VOLUME] knob to select the menu,
then press the [
e] button. Or, press either of
the [DIRECT] (1 to 6) button.
[DIRECT] (1) “PLAYLISTS”
[DIRECT] (2) “ARTISTS”
[DIRECT] (3) “ALBUMS”
[DIRECT] (4) “SONGS”
[DIRECT] (5) “GENRES”
[DIRECT] (6) “COMPOSERS”
3. Turn the [VOLUME] knob to select the menu,
then press the [
e] button. Select tracks by
repeating this operation.
Notes:
• The number of repeating operation is differ
depending to the selected menu.
• To return to the previous list, press the [
E] button.
However, you cannot return to the menu of the
step 2. Perform the operation from the step 1
again.
