WARNING: Do not use the appliance if any part of it, especially the glass jar, is

damaged in any way (e.g. scratched, cracked, chipped, or leaking). Damaged parts

could break during operation and/or splinters could get into your foods and cause severe

injuries.

For operation always place the appliance on a level, stable, heat- and moisture-resistant

surface. Do not operate the appliance on inclined surfaces! Do not operate the

appliance under overhanging boards, lamps or near delicate objects to avoid damage

caused by splashes and condensate. Do not place the appliance on any power cord.
Always switch Off (Blender control dial to Off, then press the power button), unplug, and

let the appliance cool down, before assembling or disassembling. Do not place the hot

glass jar on any heat- or moisture-sensitive surface. To avoid overheating, do not switch

on the appliance when the glass jar is still empty.
1. Place the motor base on a flat, stable surface near a wall power outlet. (See:

„Important Safeguards“) Leave at least 30 cm of free space to walls, curtains, boards

and other objects on each side of the appliance. Leave at least 100 cm of free

space above the appliance to avoid damage due to splashes and steam.

2. Ensure that the appliance is switched Off (Blender control dial to Off position) and

unplugged.

3. Ensure that the glass jar is assembled correctly. (See. Care and Cleaning) If in doubt,

fill in some water to check the glass jar for leakage.
Before assembling the glass jar, always ensure that the sealing surfaces on the brim of

the jar collar and glass container are clean and neat, and are not scratched, chapped,

cracked or frayed out. Then screw the glass container on the jar collar.
