2. When cleaning the appliance, never use solvent (acetone, benzole, petrol, alcohol, etc.) as these may solve
the casing material, or the internal parts of the appliance if they get into. Do not use cleaning agents with
coarse or grinding effect.
3. Never remove the cover of the appliance.
4. The heating unit should be cleaned with a slightly wet sponge or a soft cleaning or rinsing agent. Do not use
rough, rubbing agents or metallic scrubbing pads for cleaning. Never place the heating unit in water or other
liquids. Take particular care to prevent humidity penetrating the cover of the heating unit containing electric
parts. After cleaning, wipe thoroughly and let the heating unit completely dry out.
5. Only ever pack away an appliance that is completely cool and that has been cleaned.
6. If you don’t plan to use the appliance for a while after cleaning it, place it in a nylon bag and store it in a place
that is free from dust, damp and frost. Do not wrap the mains cable around the appliance when storing it
because the insulation can deteriorate or break under these circumstances.
