Caution: Drilling into the housing of the light bar could damage wiring or other internal
components.
Wiring Instructions
It is advisable to leave an extra loop of cable when installing the light bar to allow for future changes or reinstallations.
Connect the black lead to a solid frame ground (earth), preferably the (-) or ground (earth) side of the battery, and the
power wire to the +12V terminal of the battery. Connect the remaining wires as shown on page 5.
Installation Instructions-Cont.
Step 6 Slip a supplied 1/4" internal tooth lock washer onto a supplied Black Zinc Plated 1/4"-20 X 1/2" Phillips Pan Head Machine Screw and
thread the screw through the slot in each of the WingMan's Slotted Mounting Brackets and into the threaded hole in the WingMan's Pemserted
Mounting Bracket (See Figure 8).
Step 7 Slip a supplied 1/4" internal tooth lock washer onto a supplied Black Zinc Plated 1/4"-20 X 1/2" Phillips Pan Head Machine Screw and
thread the screw through the slot in the WingMan's Slotted Mounting Bracket into the threaded hole in the WingMan's outer Panel (See Figure
9). Tighten the 1/4"-20 X 1/2" Phillips Pan Head Machine Screws as shown in Figure 10. Repeat this step for both sides of the car.
Step 8 From inside the rear passenger area of the vehicle have an assistant center the WingMan in the Vehicle's rear window and push and
hold the pemserted WingMan Mounting Brackets back toward the rear of the vehicle while you tighten the (2) 1/4"-20 X 5/8" Phillips Pan Head
Screws inside the trunk (see Figure 11).
Step 9 With the WingMan still centered in the rear window of the vehicle, align the slotted mounting brackets with the pemserted mounting
brackets, push the WingMan back against the rear window, and then tighten the (2) 1/4"-20 X 1/2" Machine Screws as shown Figure 12.
Step 10 Reposition the vehicle's fabric upper trunk liner back in the trunk and replace the (6) Christmas Tree Fasteners.
Step11 Replace the vehicle's plastic child restraint covers by slipping the forward facing part of the child restraint covers down into the hole
in the vehicle's fabric package tray first and then snapping the rear tab of the vehicle's plastic child restraint covers down onto the rectangular
tab on the WingMan's Mounting Bracket (See Figure 13). Then while pushing down on the vehicle's plastic child restraint covers pry up the
vehicle's fabric package tray on each side of the restraint covers so that it engages above the retention tabs on each side of the child restraint
covers that were shown in Figure 5 back on page 3.
Note: If the WingMan's Gasket has wavy areas where it contacts the rear window you can press down firmly all along the rear
contour on top of the WingMan as far back as you can reach to allow the gasket to pop back into shape.
