3 (^15. Care of O-ring and Packing
-0-ring
1. Remove the battery magazine ®, then
slide the tip of a slender round stick Into
the 0-rlng removal slot and take out the
0-rlng.
2. Inspect the 0-rlng. If it is scratched, re­
place it; if it is dirty, clean it in running
water.
I NEVER use a sharp object such as a nail, scls-
I
sors, or a needle. These will damage the 0-rlng,
Instead use something soft, like the rounded end
of a toothpick, and remove the 0-ring carefully.
