SPOT Spot Mode

(Shooting pictures of extremely
dark or iight subjects)

You can shoot sharp pictures of a subject with a high-
contrasting background (for example, in a spotlight or
on a ski slope). Focus and exposure metering are set
to the center of the viewfinder.

You can check the settings
for this mode in the LCD
panel.

• If ■#' is displayed on the LCD panel, the red-eye

^ reduction function will operate In flash photography.

When the shutter button is pressed, the red-eye

reduction lamp lights up and the shutter will not

release for about one second. (-► p. 35)
