Select the type of external display:
CRT/Projector
Displays an external computer display or RGB
connected projector that is connected to the
Monitor connector on your computer.
Displays a TV or analog connected projector that
is connected to the Video Out connector on your
computer.
TV
^ If you select CRT/ProJector, you can turn off the computer's LCD display by removing the
checkmark from the LCD option under Internal Display. If you select TV, you cannot turn
off the computer's LCD display. The TV and LCD displayed are simultaneously used.
If you select CRT/Projector and turn off the LCD, you can use the Refresh Rate slider to
change the display's horizontal frequency. This setting can be made only for CRT
display. If you select Independent Display Timing (see page 91), you can change both
the resolution and the refresh rate. You cannot display images on a TV connected to the
Video Out connector when the display is set to True Color (24 bit).

Do not connect the display to the Monitor connector if you want to display images on TV
connected to the Video Out connector.
Depending on the types of computer displays and projectors you are using, you may not be
able to display the computer's LCD and external display simultaneously.
