Labeling a CD
— Disc Memo
(CD changer with the custom file function)
You can label each disc with a personalized
name. You can enter up to eight characters for
a disc. If you label a CD, you can locate the
disc by name and select the specific tracks for
playback (page 19).

Play the CD and press CusT^ for two
seconds.

Enter the characters.

Rotate the dial clockwise to select the
desired characters.

If you rofate the dial counterclockwise,
the characters appear in the reverse
order.
If you want to put a blank space
between characters, select (under
bar).

Press (T) (—►) after locating the
desired character.
The flashing cursor moves fo fhe next
space.

If you press Q3 (<—), the flashing cursor
moves fo the left.

To return to normal CD playback mode,

) for two seconds.

To eraselconect a name enter

Displaying the disc memo name
Press (

during CD playback.

Press (SOURCE) repeatedly to select CD.

Press (MODE) repeatedly to select the CD
changer.

LIST) for two seconds.

Press (DSPL) for two seconds.

Rotate the dial to select the name you
want to erase.
6 Press (X) (ENTER) for two seconds.
The name is erased.
Repeat steps 5 and 6 if you want to erase
other names.

LIST) for two seconds.
The unit returns to normal CD playback
mode.
Locating a disc by name
— List-up (CD changer with the custom file
function or MD changer)
You can use this function for discs that have
been assigned a custom name. For more
information on disc names, refer to "Labeling a
CD."

The name assigned to the current disc
appears in the display.
