Controlling the TV or the AV Receiver (Amplifier) with the
Supplied Remote [T
If you adjust the remote signal, you can control your TV
with the supplied remote. Default setting is to control
Sony TVs with the S mark.
When you connect the player to a Sony AV receiver
(amplifier), you can also set the input of the receiver
(amplifier) to this player with the supplied remote.

1 Slide TV/DVD»RECEIVER switch to TV.
2 Hold down l/Cl) (POWER), and enter your TV's
manufacturer's code (see the table) using the
number buttons. Then release l/C!) (POWER).
Code numbers of controllable TVs
If more than one code number is listed, try entering them
one at a time imtil you find the one that works with your
TV.

Notes
• If you enter a new code number, the code number previously
entered will be erased.
• When you replace the batteries of the remote commander, the
code number automatically resets to 01 (Sony). Reset the
appropriate code number.
