DC Voltage Ranges
Dell OptiPlex G1 systems are equipped with a switch-selectable (115/230 VAC) universal power supply that can operate from standard AC power outlets in all
countries. The power supply used in the midsize and mini tower chassis configurations is a higher-capacity power supply than that used in the low-profile chassis
configuration. The system power supplies provide the DC operating voltages and currents listed in the following table.
1
The combined load on the +5-VDC and +3.3-VDC outputs should not exceed 105 W on the low-profile system or 140 W on the midsize system.
2
Withstands surges of up to 11.0 A to support disk start-up operations.
3
VFP (volts flea power) — sometimes called "standby power."
DC Power Cables (Low-Profile Chassis)
NOTE: Each power supply produces DC voltages only under its loaded condition. Therefore, when you measure these voltages, the DC power
connectors must be connected to their corresponding power input connectors on the system board or drives.
