Run the appropriate online diagnostics test. See "
Using Server Administrator Diagnostics
" in "Running the System Diagnostics."

Turn off the system and attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet.

Remove the cooling shroud from the system. See "

Ensure that each processor and heat sink is properly installed. See "
Installing a Processor
" in "Installing System Components."

Reconnect the system to the electrical outlet, and turn on the system and attached peripherals.

Run the appropriate online diagnostic test.
If the tests fail or the problem persists, continue to the next step.

Turn off the system and attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet.

Remove the other processors, if installed, leaving only processor 1 installed. See "
