Removing the Display Hinges
1.
Follow the procedures in
Before Working Inside Your Computer
.
2.
Remove the
battery
from the computer.
3.
Remove the
keyboard
from the computer.
4.
Remove the
access panel
from the computer.
5.
Remove the
display assembly
from the computer.
6.
Remove the
display bezel
from the display assembly.
7.
Remove the
display panel
from the display assembly.
8.
Remove the screw that secures the display hinge to the display assembly.
9.
Lift and remove the display hinge from the display assembly.
10.
Repeat the previous procedure to remove the second hinge.
