Replacing the Speakers

Procedure
1 Using the alignment posts on the palmrest and keyboard assembly, place
the speakers on the palmrest and keyboard assembly.
2 Adhere the adhesive tape that secures the speaker to the palmrest and
keyboard assembly.
3 Route the speaker cable through the routing guides on the palmrest and
keyboard assembly.
4 Adhere the foil tapes that secure the speaker cable to the palmrest and
keyboard assembly.
5 Connect the speaker cable to the system board.
6 Adhere the Mylar to the palmrest and keyboard assembly.

Adhere the touchpad cable to the Mylar.
8 Slide the touchpad cable into the connector on the touchpad and press
down the connector latch to secure the cable.
Post-requisites
1 Follow the procedure from step 4 to step 7 in “Replacing the Hard Drive ”.
2 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 4 in “Replacing the Power and
Volume-Buttons Board ”.
3 Replace the battery .
4 Replace the base cover .
