DEATH or SERIOUS INJURY can occur

• Rear-facing car seat must be properly leveled:

- Too reclined can result in injury or ejection.
- Too upright can result in breathing difficulties.

E. Recline Position Adjustment:

To change recline position:

• Lift and hold recline lever under front

of car seat (fig. e).

• Push on front or back of car seat to

slide into desired recline position.

• Release recline lever and check that

car seat is locked in the recline position.

F. Changing Forward-Facing/Rear-Facing Use

Position:

Car seat use position is indicated by use
position arrows and use position labels
on car seat (fig. c).

- Blue for rear-facing.

- Red for forward-facing.

To change use position:

1. Grasp lower front corner of lower

base and side of car seat (fig. d).

2. Turn car seat and upper base until use

position arrows are in line with use
position label section for forward-facing
or rear-facing position (fig. d).
