Section 11 - Operation and Adjustments
A. Harness Use and Adjustment
Harness Straps Adjustment:
• To tighten: Pull harness adjuster
strap (fig. a).
• To loosen: While pressing harness
adjuster lever, pull harness
straps (fig. b).
Chest Clip Operation:
• To open: Press tabs and pull
apart (fig. c).
• To close: Snap halves together.
Make sure chest clip
is locked by pulling out.

Buckle Operation:
• To buckle:
-
Place top of buckle tongues together
and insert buckle tongues into buckle
(fig. d).

Pull up on tongues to be sure they
are locked.
• To unbuckle:
-
Press red button and pull tongues out of buckle.
B. Changing Harness Positions:
Rear-facing - Shoulder harness straps must be through slots at
or just below shoulders.
- Use only middle or lowest harness strap slots for
rear-facing.
Forward-facing - Shoulder harness straps must be at or above
shoulders.
- Discontinue use of car seat if top shoulder
harness slots are below shoulders of child.
