Separations
Proteins may be separated from one another using
the macroporous Bio-Rex 70 cation exchange resin,
because this resin has pores of sufficient size to admit the
proteins. The effective exclusion limit of this resin has
not been established, however, from the many
separations reported, the limit exceeds 75,000 daltons.
