Transporting

See “Hitching Tractor to Sub-Soiler” on page 14 before
transporting the Sub-Soiler.

Check Tractor Capacity and Configuration

• Consult your tractor manual for 3-point limitations.

• Add weights to tractor as required.

When determining the weight of your Sub-Soiler, be sure
to include the weight of any options.

Transport Checklist

❑ Plan the route. Avoid steep hills. Keep Clearances in

mind.

❑ Make all electrical and hydraulic connections. See

Hitching Tractor to Sub-Soiler” on page 14.

❑ Raise Sub-Soiler.
❑ Always have lights on for highway operation.
❑ Comply with all federal, state and local safety laws

when traveling on public roads.

❑ Travel with caution. Allow safe clearance.

Remember that the Sub-Soiler is wider than the trac-
tor.

not allow lead to rest on the ground.

3.

Unhitch from the tractor 3-point.

Loss of Control Hazard:
Use a tractor rated for the load. Add tractor ballast as needed.
Do not exceed 20 mph. Towing the Sub-Soiler with a vehicle
that is not adequate, or at high speeds, could lead to loss of
vehicle control. Loss of vehicle can result in a serious road
accident, severe injury or death. Check that your tractor has
enough to handle the weight of the Sub-Soiler. Refer to your
tractor’s operator manual for capacities and ballast require-
ments.
