Spring Pre-Load
Refer to Figure 11
26. Now set the spring pre-load on all the seedbed condi-
tioner baskets to 8 3/8” from top of the spring to the top
of the cupped spring washer. Nuts should bottom out at
the end of the threads.
Light Bracket
Refer to Figure 12
Note: On models 2325-2335 the light brackets
will be
shipped in right location but turned inward.
27. Loosen set screws and slide light bracket assembly
out of tube and turn 180 degrees and slide back down in
tube as shown below. Re-tighten set screws
.
Note: Double check that all bolts are tightened to specs, See
“Torque Values Chart” on page 12. Check that safety
decals are readable and not covered up. Check that
safety lights are visible with machine folded for trans-
port.
28. Once baskets springs are pre-loaded and all of the
hydraulic procedures have been completed, fold the
machine to check for clearance and hose routing. Slowly
fold the machine while watching that hoses do not
become pinched or kinked.
29. Once the machine is folded completely, begin to unfold
slowly. Prior to transporting, fully raise and fold seedbed
conditioner. Install the transport locks and wing stop
pins. Always use the transport locks and pins when mov-
ing from field to field in case of a hydraulic hose failure.
30. At this point, setup of the machine is complete, be sure
to consult the “Operator’s Manual”, for the first time field
adjustments before going to the field.
