After un-crating the machine, place the center frame in the
center of work area by setting the front on stands and back
can sit down on tires as shown.
Refer to Figure 4
Note: All bolts are pre-installed on the unit in there proper loca-
tion. Bolts will need to be removed and then re-installed
during assembly. It is important to attach hitch assembly
before attaching or folding wings because machine
could tip over

Attach rear of hitch assembly
to center frame with the
1x6 hex bolts, 1 lock washers and 1 nuts. Attach the 3/
4x22 hex bolts
, 3/4 lock washers and 3/4 nuts to the
plates as shown.
8.
Remove pin from jack
from the storage position
,
move jack
to front of hitch and re-install pin. This will
help stabilize machine during the rest of assembly.
9.
Slide the SMV pole slide assembly
into SMV bracket
and tighten thumb screw to secure.
10. Bolt may be tightened to specs, See “Torque Values
Hydraulic Hose & Light Harness
Refer to Figure 5
Note: The light harness
and hoses
will be pre-assembled,
hooked up to lights and cylinders. They will need to be
routed along hitch assembly as shown. They will be
rolled up and fastened to center frame during shipment.
Untie hoses and light harness with tractor couplers.
11. Remove the 1x6 1/2 hex bolts
and slide hitch pole
forward. The hitch pole
should be extended far enough
to prevent the seedbed conditioner from contacting the
host machine during turns.
12. Unroll light harness
and hoses
and route them along
hitch assembly, through hitch pole tube
and up through
hose holder
as shown. Leave about 3 foot of hose and
wire harness in front of hose holder. Re-install the 1x6 1/2
hex bolts
, 1 lock washers and 1 nuts.
13. Attach the hose wraps
around hoses and wire harness
and be sure they do not drag on ground or get pinched
when turning.
