Pump Option
Installing Pump
Refer to Figure 2-1.
1. Assemble pressure gauge and relief valve onto pump
as shown using these parts: 1-inch adaptor (1), four-
way cross (2), 1-by-1/4-inch adaptor (3), gauge (4), 1-
inch threaded/hose barb adaptor (5), 1-by-3/4-inch
adaptor (6), relief valve (7), and 3/4-by-3/8-inch elbow
(8).
2. Push 3/8-inch hose (9) onto relief valve outlet.
3. Install 1 1/2-inch threaded/hose barb elbow (10) into
pump inlet.
4. Install 13-tooth sprocket (11) onto pump shaft.
5. Refer to Figure 2-2. U-bolt pump mount (1) to hitch
frame at location shown. Leave nuts on u-bolts loose
for later repositioning.
6. Secure pump (2) on
pump mount using
3/8-inch bolts, flat
washers, lock wash-
ers and nuts.
7. Position pump mount
so pump sprocket (3)
is aligned with drive
wheel sprockets (4).
Tighten nuts on
pump-mount u-bolts.
8. Route chain (5) over
drive wheel and
pump sprockets. Use
idlers to remove
chain slack.
