CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the ClearOne MAX™ EX expandable conferencing phone. MAX EX provides premium,
full-duplex audio to small conference rooms as a single unit, and to larger rooms by connecting up to four MAX EX
units together. Connecting MAX EX units together allows you to expand microphone and speaker coverage, as well
as control access, for a more natural communications experience in larger rooms.
Setting up the MAX EX conferencing phone is easy and requires only three connections: power, telephone, and
base unit to conference pod. MAX EX’s familiar keypad design ensures users will be comfortable using the phone,
reducing the need for training and support.
