RF PEX TM products can be used for Residential Fire PEX Multi-
purpose Piping Systems in accordance with NFPA 13D, which
is the standard covering the “Installation of Sprinkler Systems
in One and Two-Family Dwellings and Manufactured Homes.”
Specifications
For fire supression applications, RF PEX TM products are only
to be used with Watts RF PEX TM Tubing, RF PEX TM Fittings, RF
PEX TM Sprinkler Fittings and Copper CrimpRing TM Connections,
all of which are UL 1821 listed. These products are designed
for use with NFPA 13D multipurpose fire suppression piping
and potable water plumbing applications.
Approvals
The listings below are solely based upon use with UL 1821
listed RF PEX TM Tubing, RF PEX TM Fittings, RF PEX TM Sprinkler
Fittings and CrimpRing TM Connections.
• Manufactured in accordance with American Society for
Testing and Materials (ASTM International) F877 and F1807.
• Tested and certified by NSF International to NSF/ANSI
Standards 14 and 61 for use in potable water systems.
• Listed by Underwriters Laboratories to UL Standard 1821
for use in residential fire sprinkler systems per NFPA 13D.
