4. Position the WPQCM-5 in the desired mounting area. Using (4) 1 1 ⁄

coarse thread drywall screws (not included), firmly attach the mounting
brackets to a stud or cross bar.
5. Insert the ½" outlet pipe into the WPQCM-5.
6. Attach the label plates and labels as shown.
7. MAKE SURE THAT ALL PIPES, END CAPS AND OUTLET CAPS ARE
FIRMLY SEATED INTO THE WPQCM-5 PORTS.
8. Close all fixture valves.
9. Slowly turn on the main water feed and check for leaks.

Installation Instructions:
1. Decide proper location for the WPQCM-5. The WPQCM-5 should be
located in an accessible area, but can be concealed behind a finished wall
if necessary. The WPQCM-5 may be positioned in either the vertical or
horizontal position as required. In either mounting position, the WPQCM-5
mounting brackets should be securely fastened to a stud or cross bar.
2. Attach the mounting kits provided as shown. Tighten the bracket screw
to secure the mounting to the manifold. The WPQCM-5 may be rotated
for proper positioning.
3. Insert the inlet pipe into the WPQCM-5 as shown. If the inlet pipe is ¾" or
½", insert the proper reducing adapter (included) into the manifold first,
and then insert the pipe into the adapter.
Features:
• Kit includes: 5-port Quick-Connect distribution manifold, outlet and
circuit plugs pre-installed, label plates and circuit labels, mounting kit
and inlet reducing fittings.
• Inlet can be reduced from 1" CTS to ¾" CTS and ½" CTS by using the
reducing fittings included in the kit.
• Manifolds can be installed in series by removing the pre-installed end
plug and inserting a 6" cut of pipe between two manifolds.
• All ports can be used with Copper, CPVC and PEX pipe.
Caution: The polysulfone material used in the Quick-Connect fittings
can be compromised by exposure to volatile organic compounds
(VOC’s) and caustic chemicals. Therefore,
DO NOT expose this
product to any such chemical or foreign substance, which would
include exposure to the following products:
Pipe Dopes (thread
sealants), bug sprays, lubricants, cleaners, paints, bleaches, acids,
solder fluxes, plastic piping primers and cements, oxidizing agents,
alkaline solutions, thinners, fuels, oil based caulks, hydrocarbons,
spray foam of foaming agents (insulation).
To install WPQCM-5's in a series: Remove the 1" outlet plug from the end
of one WPQCM-5. Cut a 6" piece of 1" Copper, PEX or CPVC pipe and
insert as shown.
