brand pleated cartridges outperform wound, spun, melt blown, resin bonded and other depth
type cartridges because they are pleated to provide greater surface area and more throughput for
longer life. Low pressure-drop is another advantage, allowing for increased flow rates and the use of
smaller filter housings. Our 100% synthetic filter media is washable, so cartridges are reusable (five
micron and up) to reduce filtration costs. Watts brand 40" high-flow cartridges are available in a wide
range of removal ratings, including one micron absolute, 1, 5, 20, 50 and 100 micron, nominal.
