Connecting the leak sensor
Plugging in the leak sensor connection cable
The leak sensor connection cable is coiled up in the base tray.
1 Pull the leak sensor connection cable out of the base tray as far as
needed.
2 Plug the plug for the leak sensor connection cable into the leak sen-
sor connection socket (labeled Leak Sensor).

Connecting the eluent bottle
The eluent is aspirated out of the eluent bottle via the eluent aspiration
tubing . The eluent aspiration tubing is installed on the input for the high-
pressure pump.
The tubing has to be be fed out of the instrument through a suitable
opening (see "Openings on the back panel", page 10) before the loose
end can be connected to the eluent bottle.
