5.4 10-port valve
5.4.1 Connecting the 10-port valve
Connecting the 10-port valve
NOTE
Connect all capillaries with 6.2744.010 long PEEK pressure screws:
1 Connection to the transfer tubing
￭ Connect the capillary with a long pressure screw to the central
connector of the 10-port valve.
￭ Fix the other end of the capillary to the coupling on the transfer
tubing.
2 Connecting transfer tubing and Dosino
￭ Fix the capillary to the coupling of the transfer tubing.
￭ Connect the other end of the capillary to the Dosino (see manual
for the Dosino).
3 Other capillary connections
The other 10 connectors can be freely used for:
￭ Connection to the injection valve in the extension module.
￭ Connection to the injection valve in the IC instrument.
￭ Connection to the mixing vessel.
￭ Connection to different solutions.
￭ Connection to an ion exchanger.
￭ etc.
