3 Drainage tubing connection
For supplying escaped liquid through the
connected drainage tubing to the leak sen-
sor. 4 Drainage tubing connector
For draining escaped liquid from the base
tray through the connected drainage tubing.
5 Drainage tubing
Section of the 6.1816.020 silicon tubing.
Guides escaped liquid into a waste con-
tainer.
￭ Plug the drainage tubing (16-2) onto the drainage tubing connec-
tor (16-1) of the bottle holder and shorten to required length.
￭ Plug the other end of the drainage tubing (16-2) onto the drain-
age tubing connector (16-3) of the base tray.
￭ Plug the drainage tubing (16-5) onto the drainage tubing connec-
tor (16-4) and guide the other end into a waste container.
4.5 Mounting the accessories
The bottle holder for the 872 Extension Module – Liquid handling
6.2057.200 can be mounted on the instrument in order to set up the dif-
ferent small bottles, the mixing vessel and the transfer tubing in proper
sequence in front of the instrument. This permits keeping the capillary
connections as short as possible.
