4.3. Making the Connections
4.3.1. RAID Controller Port Assignment
The PRO DQ is supplied with a two port mini-SAS RAID Controller. Each port
supports 4 drives.
For proper drive assignment, it is important to properly match up the
ports used. Please follow the cabling instructions in the following section
carefully.
Drive 1 to 4

4.3.2. Mac Connection
Connect the PRO DQ to the RAID Controller with the supplied mini-SAS
cable(s).
For proper drive numbering assignments, it is important to match up the
ports on the RAID Controller to the ports on the PRO DQ. Carefully
follow the cabling instruction in the diagram below.
