Area and Volume
Finding Area
1) Roll the first dimension and press
[M1+]. A small “M” will appear in the
scale box display and the main
display will reset to zero (0).
2) Roll the second dimension and press
[M2x]. The main display will reset
to zero.
3) Press [Rcl] [M2x]. The first press
displays the linear value stored in
this register. The second press will
calculate and display the area, which
is the value stored in [M1+] times that
in [M2x].
Finding Volume
1) Roll the first dimension and press
[M1+].
2) Roll the second dimension and press
[M2x].
3) Storing a height value (if you have
previously set a height, skip to step 4):
a. To Roll and Store a Height:
i. Roll the third dimension and
press [Subtract/Count] and [M2x]
simultaneously. The display will
show the rolled value and the unit
of measure will begin flashing.
