C: Physical Installation
Warning: This is when you should be using the Bully Dog Stock OBDII Harness (without red tag).
If the correct harness is not used, your vehicles’ ECM may be damaged and your vehicle may not
run.
1. Connect the Stock OBDII Harness
(without red tag).
• Find your vehicles’ diagnostic port
(OBDII) under the dash.
• Connect the GT Stock OBDII Harness
(without red tag) to the diagnostic
port.
2. Install the HDMI cable.
• Connect one end of the HDMI cable
to the Stock OBDII Harness (without
red tag).
• Run the cable under the dash or
weather stripping.
3. Slide the switch on the adapter plug to
“BATT”.
4. Mount and connect the GT.
• Use the windshield mount to attach the GT
head unit to the windshield in a safe place.
• Make sure not to obstruct the drivers view.
• Connect the HDMI cable to the GT head unit.
OBDll Port Location
All OBDll ports are located under the
dash on the drivers side of the vehicle.
D: Unlock Process
1. Choose “Change Vehicle” and select
your vehicle.
2. Choose “Install Download” in the
main menu.
3. Follow the instructions on your GT screen
• You will need to turn your key to different positions and then choose “continue”.
• Do NOT start the engine when turning the key to the “run” (or “on”) position at any
other time during the Unlock Process.
4. FOLLOW ALL ON-SCREEN INSTRUCTIONS. ONCE THE UNLOCK PROCESS IS
STARTED, IT MUST BE COMPLETED.
When Part 1 is complete, make sure to wait for the on screen instructions
to prompt you when it is safe to disconnect the Bully Dog Stock OBDII
Harness(without red tag).
Use the displayed Stock OBDII Harness (that
came with the GT Package) at this time.
Do NOT use the cable that with the red tag/tape on it.
