4.3: Gold Plate preparation
The Autocue Gold Plate is provided disassembled as illustrated below.
The body of the Gold Plate consists of the mounting slide and the camera carriage.
Once the Gold Plate is assembled, it can be attached to a tripod or to a hand-held
shoulder grip.
1. Screw the Gold Plate extension bars into the ends of the threaded rods
protruding from the camera carriage of the Gold Plate.
2. Adjust the distance between the camera carriage and the mounting slide.
The distance depends on whether the Gold Plate will be attached to a
tripod or shoulder mount.
3. Loosen the locking levers on the camera carriage and move the camera
carriage to required position.
