Chapter 1: Introduction
Overview
The Hi5-Plus converts 3G/HD/SD-SDI to HDMI for driving HDMI monitors. Embedded SDI
audio is supported in the HDMI output allowing a convenient single cable audio/video
connection. The Hi5-Plus provides 2 RCA style audio outputs for separate audio
monitoring if needed.
Features
• 3G/HD/SD-SDI to HDMI (see "Appendix A: Specifications on page 15" for a complete list of
supported inputs).
• Full HDMI support including 10-bit video and 8 channels of embedded audio
• Additional 2 Channel RCA jack audio output (selectable channel pairs)
• HDMI cable supplied
• Uses universal input +5V power supply AJA model DWP-U-R1 (included)
• No configuration necessary
