Buffalo Technology USA regularly provides ﬁ rm-

ware updates to enhance performance, provide

additional features and to ﬁ x bugs. Please check

our website listed below for udpates.
Firmware updates should be done with a wired

connection as opposed to wirelessly. Also, it is

best practice to save your current settings to a

saved settings ﬁ le in advance.
Please review the release notes to see if a ﬁ rm-

ware update is necessary. Your current update

version can be found in the System Information

section of your management screen.
Use of ﬁ rmware outside of the geographic

region that the AirStation is being used in may be a violation of your country or state laws.
To update your ﬁ rmware download the image from our website. Then unzip the package if neces-

sary to a known location on your computer. Click the Browse button and point it at the image ﬁ le.

Then click Update to proceed. The AirStation will restart after the process is complete and normal

operation should resume.
