External audio sources
In addition to the CD changer, you can
also connect up a different external au-
dio source with a line output. Such
sources can be, for example, portable
CD players, minidisc players or MP3
players.
If there is no CD changer connected to
your unit, two external audio sources
can be hooked up.
The AUX output has to be switched on
in the install menu.
To connect up an external audio source,

TMC for dynamic navigation
systems
TMC denotes “Traffic Message Chan-
nel”. Traffic announcements are trans-
mitted digitally via TMC and can there-
fore be used by suitable navigation sys-
tems for route planning. Your car radio
has one TMC output for connection to
Blaupunkt navigation systems. Your
Blaupunkt dealer will tell you which nav-
igation systems can be used with your
car radio.
When a navigation system is connect-
ed and a TMC station received, “TMC”
lights up on the display.
When the dynamic navigation system
is activated, the radio automatically
tunes into a TMC station.
