Selecting an equalizer
After calibration has taken place or af-
ter you have finished making manual
adjustments,

press and hold down the AUDIO
button
: for longer than two sec-
onds.

Press the softkey
5 assigned to
the “USER EQ” display item.
➮
Select one of the equalizers
(“EQ1”, “EQ2” or “EQ3”) using the
corresponding softkeys

Press the joystick OK 8 or the
AUDIO button
: to close the
menu.
The settings are saved.
Selecting sound presets
You can select sound presets for the
following music types.
● VOCAL
● DISCO
● ROCK
● JAZZ
● CLASSIC
The settings for these music styles
have already been programmed.

Press and hold down the AUDIO
button

Press the softkey 5 assigned to
the “PRESET” display item.
➮
Select one of the presets using
the corresponding softkeys

Press the joystick OK

Notes on adjusting the settings
We recommend you use a CD that you
are familiar with for making changes
to the settings.
Before adjusting the equalizer, set the
sound and volume distribution settings
to zero and deactivate X-BASS. For
further details, refer to the chapter en-
titled “Sound and volume distribution”.

Now refer to the “Sound impres-
sion” column in the table entitled
“Help adjusting the equalizer”.

Adjust the equalizer values as de-
scribed in the “Measures” column.
