Connectors for thermocouples (pages 1 to 3)
The connection between thermocouple and compensating cable is free from thermal emf if the
contacts are made from the same material as the thermocouple.
Connectors for RTD temperature probes (pages 4 to 6)
The connection between resistance thermometer and connecting cable must have a low con-
tact resistance to avoid introducing errors into the measurement. This is ensured by gold-plated
contacts. The connector incorporates a locking device and is thus protected against shock and
vibration.
