PROBLEM: CAUSE: SOLUTION:
The diesel engine starter
doesn’t work.
Burned fuse Replace
Ran down battery Recharge or replace
Disconnected contacts of the
ignition system / starter
Reconnect
Oxidised contacts of the
ignition system / starter Clean or spray with a
suitable vaporiser
Starter out of order

Diesel engine doesn’t
work.
The emergency push-
button is pushed in locked

Push the ignition push-
button and keep it
pushed till the engine
starts
