If installation was done using F6 or an unattended installation method, you can confirm that the Intel®
Rapid Storage Technology was loaded by following these steps:
Note: The following instructions assume Classic mode in Windows* XP.
1. Click the Start button and then Control Panel.
2. Double-click the System icon.
3. Select the Hardware tab.
4. Click the Device Manager button.
5. Expand the SCSI and RAID Controllers entry.
6. Right-click the SATA RAID Controller entry.
7. Select the Driver tab.
8. Click the Driver Details button. The iastor.sys file should be listed. Example: Refer to Figure 5.

1. Open the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology software.
2. Click the Help button and then the About button.
