To switch the message alert on or off
Using your answering machine
from the cordless handset
You can use your Freestyle 1025 for a variety of
functions: to listen to your messages; delete,
skip forward or backward; and record a memo
or new outgoing message. You can also use it to
screen an incoming call.

Message alert
When new messages have been received, your
Freestyle 1025 will beep every 10 seconds. The
volume of the beep is at the volume you have set
for the loudspeaker.
When the answering machine is in its
idle state:
Press the SKIP button to confirm the
current setting.
Press and hold to change the setting.
The machine announces, “Message alert
off/on”
as appropriate.
