Installing the blow-off valve
1)
Using a 12mm socket, remove the two bolts holding the
factory bypass valve to the intercooler pipe, then loosen
both hose clamps on the recirc back hose

Slide the recirc hose off the valve – to do this, it’s easiest
to pull it further onto the metal recirc pipe
3)
Screw the short end of the supplied threaded stud into the
upper hole in the valve mounting flange. Hang the supplied
gasket on the threaded stud, then position the Deceptor Pro II
onto the flange.

Pull the Deceptor Pro II off the flange just far
enough to slip the supplied nut under the servo
motor, then begin screwing it onto the end of the
threaded stud. Just do it up finger tight at this point.

Now thread one of the factory
bolts into the lower flange hole
(making sure the gasket is
correctly positioned in between),
then tighten both fasteners fully
6)
Push the vacuum hose and the
recirc hose onto the Deceptor Pro
II, and re-fit both hose clamps
7)
Connect the servo motor plug to the
wiring loom from the controller, and
make sure the cable is securely routed
through the engine bay away from
exhaust or turbo parts.
