Section 5 B Fuel Lines
Fuel Supply Line from the AirDog
®
II to the CP-3
For the 6.7L Engine, cont’d
5B-3 Insert the female quick connect end (see figure 20) of the
“Pressure Hose Assembly” into the male quick connect
fitting previously installed in the port marked “ENGINE”.
You will hear a “click” when it connects.

installed in step 5B-2. It will also “click” when properly connected.

Any excess fuel hose can be addressed by routing the house in a fashion to take up the
extra length, or a section of the hose can be removed. Push lock splices have been
included if you choose to remove the excess hose
NOTE: Having routed the new fuel line directly to the CP3, you may either cap or plug the
inlet and outlet ports of the bypassed filter canister OR you may also leave the stock lines in
place and simply secure them out of the way.
CAUTION: When installing the AirDog
®
II fuel lines, be sure NOT to remove the
ORIGINAL ENGINE RETURN LINE from the fuel canister or injection pump! If you must,
be sure to reconnect the injector pump and engine return lines as they were originally before
starting vehicle.
