Once inside the menu, use the scroll keys (

) to highlight

an item or page through submenus. Press

to open a highlighted

item or to enter a submenu. Press

to exit or return to the

previous menu.

Use a shortcut

You can also go to almost any feature, option, or submenu directly from
the Start screen using a “shortcut.”

Press Menu, and within 3 seconds, enter the first number of the menu
function you’d like to access. Keep going until you’ve entered all the
numbers.

For example: To turn on the Alarm clock, press Menu 4-1-1

On).

A complete list of shortcuts begins on page 21. Some features may not
appear depending on service availability, or may require subscription to
the feature in question. In such cases, the phone displays an error message.
If you wish to subscribe to a feature that is currently disabled, contact
your wireless provider.
