I forgot my password of “Parental

Control”.

A

Input 1276 as a password. The regis-

tered password is cleared. Register your

new password from

DTV Settings in the

SETUP menu.
NOTE: “TV parental lock function is not

available for UK”, because no

parental lock concept in UK.

Q

Some setting items on “Setup Menu”

cannot be selected.

A

Settings such as language, audio, sub-

titles cannot be changed in stop mode

(resuming standby mode) by pressing

STOP once. To change these items,

press

STOP twice to stop playback

completely, then press

SET UP to open

Disc Setup menu.

Q

HDMI devices not operating properly.

A

Make sure to use cables with the HDMI

logo (

®

). Some early HDMI

equipment may not work properly with

the latest HDMI TV products, due to

adoption of new standards.

Network connection fails.

A

• Check LAN connection.

• Turn on the power of modem or

router.

• Set “Network” on page 76 correctly.

• Check the connection of your network.

• Check “BD-Live Connection” setting

on page 77.

BD-LIVE™ play or data download fails.

A

• Connect a USB flash drive with an

adequate (more than 1GB) capacity to

the EXTERNAL connector.

• Check the USB flash drive is con-

nected correctly.

BD-LIVE™ disc cannot play.

A

Connect a USB flash drive with an ad-

equate (more than 1GB) capacity to the

EXTERNAL connector. BD-LIVE™ disc

may require certain volume of memory

during playback.

Q

TV turns off by itself.

A

After roughly 15 minutes without any

input video signal at TV mode, the TV

will turn off to save power if

Automatic

Power Down is set to On.

NOTE:

• Certain operating conditions may

prohibit some features. This is not

a defect.

• Some functions may not be avail-

able depending on disc category

and recording condition of content.
